"Each memorable verse of a true poet has two or three times the written content." ~ Alfred de Musset
Versatile in phrases of vowels
and consonants- structures of
modern and classical stood, melding
into pools of rippled emotions; and wordings
of paraphrasing, dreamt without realization
of such
Paper-lined bindings opened, baring all
there’s to bare while vocalized hues grew
in tidings of branched out leaves…
~Still, there was nothing there
written or scribbled on the surface
Dried wells of paint quenched themselves
as transcripts desiccated acronyms from
synonyms to homonyms-
Where longings of “How I Love Thee”
repetitiously countered trappings of
disserted muses; but sighs of contentment
reveled in partial standings, where beginnings
stopped only to start without mere cravings
to be drawn in once more in-between lines and
self taught teachings

Yep! Sound like the full monty of an AP experianced venture. Ha! Just kidding of course. Although much of this verse fits the criteria. Before commenting further,I'd best check out what the contest was about. Yet this piece of poetic wonder consumes the heart of a poet in depths waves of expression. Nicely done Poetess!
