Him and me..and...Escaping rascal. ---two poems

I- 

Original nursery rhyme -

Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
 

 Mine -

Him and me.  -

 

Tug, tug, tug, he does
excitedly along the beach.
Happy and free, him and me
until home we finally reach.

Original Nursery Rhyme -
Doctor Foster went to Gloucester
In a shower of rain;
Stepped in a puddle
Up to his middle
And never went there again!

Mine -

Escaping Rascal.-


Mr Blakey got a little shaky,
stabbing his foot on escape.
Yelping so loud
never again he vowed,
and found mummy to kiss his scrape.

Author notes

It didn’t feel appropriate to me to just repeat a word like merrily etc…but what felt appropriate is what I did put there

They are both about my little boy blakey

    Awww hehe this was so cute sis!! Loved the nursery rhyme re-makes into your own personal and unique versions. Rhyme was perfect and flowed so beautifully! Loved it!!!
