Phoenix-inspired,
this cycle of ash and flame
flicker throughout--
snuff-- what an illusion,
smoldering embraces shudder though
melodies of writhing smoke:
lithe tendrils beckon and taunt
to a core of light and heat manifest.
Crackling and singeing a lull upon dead and living alike.
Cleansing pyre! Insatiable hunger!
Reflect, refract upon the flares: desire--

this is pretty cool how it's kind of fragmentary. well, not really, but it's not completely straightforward "looky-looky...FIRE"
thanks for entering. -
