Another cut on my arm
Resembles the friend i lost
I once thought he could have been the one
But no
He found someone else
He loves her
It doesn't hurt me that he moved on
It hurts to know that he is no longer my friend
I still love him,
only as a brother of course
But here goes another cut on the arm
Here goes another piece gone
He said he would wait for me
He once stood on the shore awaiting my return
But when i returned with joy in my heart
He wasn't there to share it with
Another piece of my heart gone
Another cut on my arm
Another friend close to me....gone

I really liked this, probably because I can relate. I'm only friends with the guy I'm in love with because he's dating my other best friend. It really hurts sometimes, seeing them together. Anyway, awesome write.
