You stare through me with
vacant eyes, yet still I drown
in your sapphire love.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Vacant Eyes
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ after inhaling Your words, I kept seeing words: puppydog eyes~
and hearing what sounds like a Philly Dog- but being shown a hot dog for some reason
Then seeing a chihuahua~ hearing phrase: Quiero Taco Bell
Read again and heard what sounded like phrase: Saturday in the Park~ (which is a song by Chicago coincidentally also) and nudged to mention: You've got game...kept hearing that phrase~
Hopefully that makes sense
Powerful images You have brought forth
These words grabbed and pulled~
...your sapphire love
Beautiful Voice spoken~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love~ Desire~*~

I just love the picture and the background, they suit so well sis x Your short poem should have won a trophy. Keep writing sis, you are a great poet x -
Sometimes, much can be said in few words. This is one such instance. Volumes spoken in this verse.

Liked the background and color of the cloth you chose for this poem - fits so well with the picture color. Liked this interpretation of the prompt.
