virgin in waiting
highest resolve kept
her conviction masqued
his courage
hidden
within
her

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: queen of hearts
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times~ after inhaling Your words, I kept seeing snippets from the movie Eyes Wide Shut
For some reason~ hearing word: Portugese as if wanting to say a phrase to You in
Portugese~ Wild as it sounds...kept hearing words: Mother-n-law...after reading Your
verse- as if reference to a dish~ then word: butter (American term)- some sausage basted in butter~ actually pork fat to be more precise
I'm trying to write what I am seeing after
reading- Now also getting word: Netherlands- then skips over to phrase: Why aren't You published? ( hearing that question) reference to series and hearing word: snippets
like a Journey~ of travels...Oy! and being shown an Cuban cigar
Hopefully that makes sense
Powerful images You have brought forth
These words grabbed and pulled~
her conviction masqued
Unique Voice spoken~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love~ Desire~*~

aha! I love being the first to comment on a freshly written and posted poem
It is so rare!
I adore haiku, although I find it frustrating to write (I always get blasted by the traditionalists, and scorned by the non-traditionalists...go figure). You, however, have done it with flair, but then, sweet Poet, you always do
Love, Lane
