As we are born into this world ,
hope envelopes our souls.
The breath of life for an angel,
this we all have known.
How we are taught and what we do,
keeps the heart on the run.
But the breath of life tends to slow,
as age slowly comes .
Through our life taken for granted each day,
we breath in life all along the way.
But as we age it becomes labored and we pray ,
Lord the breath of life give me just one more day .
Hope comes forth and gives us that strength ,
for the blessings one more breath does bring.
The body thrives on this hope we all know,
until our faithful day we go back home.
As the last breath is taken and hope turns to faith ,
shall fly to heaven upon hope's wake.
Author notes
Why would we do this what are we thinking indeed for
we are the keepers of the life we so need .

awesome
love the authors note, all too true. Like the broken verse style, as always, it rings of a good long talk after a nice meal with the Kids.
