today i visited mommy
we talked and reminisce,
going down the list of all my achievements.
I tell her how I'm doing in school,
letting her know she didn't raise a fool.
we sit there,
bonding and showing we still care.
like a mommy,
she listens.
but silents would come...
looking at the sky,
I would begin to cry.
no worries.
I eventually stop,
wipe my eyes and fix my tie.
I stand,
while reading her name in the thick gray stone.
I smile a little,
laying the flowers down I tell you: I LOVE YOU.
I mention,
I'll be back soon but of course I'll be back sooner.
I turn,
walk away and continue my promise to be mommies strong little man.

I am so sorry if this holds true. I know how it feels to be close to your Momma and loosing one would be so difficult. i don't think that I could stand it. I hope that everything is okay. An awesome write. Very sweet. I loved it a lot and for this poem (and your others that I have read) you will now become one of my faves. Do continue the great work.
Thanks for the share!

Any mom would love this poem, and as your AP mom I certainly do. Hope all is well with you. Just check the spelling of turn in second last line, achievements, reminisced and raise a fool. Sentiments well expressed here - keep writing.
