I am smart and serious
I wonder what it is like not to fly
I hear the sound of the propeller
I see another plane
I want to take-off
I am smart and serious
I have taken off, no turning back now
I pretend I’m playing a game
But I feel the G-forces
I touch sticks and knobs
I worry I’m losing control
I am smart and serious
I understand the risks
I say “I can do this”
I dream what I said is true
I try to control the plane
I hope we do not crash!
