You'll find another sunset
After this one, with the colors so beautifully fading
Down into the candescence that drowns with the beginnings of night.
You'll find another sunset to live for
So that when night comes you can gaze at the stars
And call to them silently
Because they are your only friends.
As for me, I can look for the sunrise
And I can watch the skies blush to be caught up so early
Not even done shedding their night.
Before day comes, I can gaze at them
And call to them silently
While watching the clouds reveal the sun.
You'll find another sunset
After this one, with the colors bleeding from the sky.
Your heart bleeds with it.
As for me, I watch the sunrise
And long for someone to watch it with me.
I watch the sun rise above the world
Thinking of you, weeping at the other side of the world
The sunless side.
Night hasn't come for you yet
It is not too late to say no.
You'll find another sunset after this one
While I pray that the moon
Will not pull you away with its light.
Author notes
Not my best poem. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

i think it has a good theme and structure, maybe like me you want to put so much into the poem when the reader mught expect one main idea and some kind of resolution... but i think you have something with the finding another sunset theme..works well..PK
