Into a land of dreams;
Where the flowers smile
And animals sing.
We’ll fly away
To a land of enchantment;
With happily ever afters
And little children laughing.
It’s a place where
The stars shine bright
And fairytales come alive.
I’ll take you to a land
Where the grass is always green
And it rarely ever rains.
It’s filled with happiness,
It’s filled with joy and wonder.
Come rest your head
On your soft pillow
And drift off into a peaceful sleep
And you will soon arrive
In the land of sweet dreams.

Yeah...I know...It's really weird. But I had to write it for the girl down the street that I baby-sit. She won't got to sleep unless I read her something, and I got kinda tired of The Little Engine That Could...lol!!!
called "Land of Dream" this is where anyone can go if they just think about it before they go to sleep.

This is such an endearing poem. I think you did a good job and I am suer the little girl down the street loves it.
Althought this is a very nice poem, its not really what I am looking for. I'm looking for a birth announcement... something to symbolize my nephews life as he comes into the world.
