Radiant

She stood with her back to the wind
Knowing the words that it whispered
Fearing the truth in them
A strong heart wrapped carefully
Her brown hair blew into her face
The wind trying to annoy her
To get herto turn and face the words

He stood to the side
Watching her, as he always had
This time he was closer
Could see the truth resting in her eyes
The way they sparkled with their own light
Truly Enthralled not just by the beauty he saw
Strenth it poured from her like a dam breaking
This was never a bad thing
Watching her made him want to be there
For the first time he would fight

She tucked the strand of hair behind her ear
With the wind to her back
Gacing the world in the most Corupt form
Promising to never again rely on anyone
Hands linked with hers
Looked to find him
A smile graced her lips
He had been there
Now he was real, really there

He couldn't help but link his hands with hers
Had to let her know that she wouldn't do it alone
Besides without her he'd be in hell
Graciously she took his hands
Leading him to the light
And from that moment on he loved her
Not for saving him
But for being a light

Together the wind at their backs
Facing the cruely of the world
Nothing was going to be easy
They wouldn't make it so
But they had each other
And as he stood there Staring
He swore there was a new light
A light coming from her, she seemed
Radiant
