White Lie

Rusty needles open sores

Perspiration dripping no one scores

Hanging flesh pushing bones

Memory lost vacant stones

Distant haze lifetime fee

Deceptions born heroins key

Taken sanity taken soul

Blackness creeping deepening hole

Another hit another dream

Reality's just a bloody scream

Given wings no sky

Broken images cant fly

Increased load forbidden flight

Destiny's ceiling final height

    Good word play ...

Addiction is a devastating pathology. Only God can stop this destructive pattern from wiping out such beautiful potential.

    Dear TAI

Nice you said something about a terrible addiction like heroin. Two of my friends died from it when I was a youngster.
Curious! Aren't bartenders a loquacious bunch? Yet many of the poems I see listed are short. I'll take a peek further later when I return.
    Again, nice poem, deadly subject!

This was very poetic and nicely put, yet in some places the rhyme seemed a bit forced... it was still good though.
