In our Father’s footsteps we would follow,
For his words were few but never hollow,
Instead his actions has shown us the way,
To live in happiness day by day.
In our Father’s presence we would do,
All the crazy things we put him through,
But always he was willing to forgive and forget,
And in his house all our needs were met.
In our Father’s memory we will share,
With our children and their children the need to care,
To make sacrifices that they will gain,
So through our actions they will remember his name.
In our Father’s footsteps we hope to go,
To a better place than anyone on earth can know,
And he looks down at us today from above,
We say you Dad for giving us your love.
