Dearly departed beauty
With lips so frail
Mouthing softly
Words of pure
Innocence
A broken bow you grip
A violin
Long shattered
And tender with age
Woken up with
Light movement
You shift delicately
And yet darkly
Without
A reason for your pity
Do those lost eyes
See far?
How can you feel anything
When all you do
Is sit there
Looking pretty and weak
Singing all those
Empty words?
Author notes
Inspired by myself, don't ask how, I'm not sure. So incredibly weird, but I really like this piece. Hope you do too! Any suggestions are appreciated!
