A new era of equality arrived,
First black presidential candidate;
USA healing past racial divides,
Representation for all the electorate.
Delegate count passed magic number,
Finally putting Obama over the top;
Rousing McCain from his slumber,
Hillary still will not concede her spot.
Now unleashing fire at McCain,
Winding up for larger contest;
But a determined lady will not refrain,
Will not relinquish, continues to protest.
He has set up Vice-Presidential committee,
Staffed with prominent political personalities;
Is that blonde lady trying to stir peoples pity?
She will not gain office with that obstinancy.
The people have two opposites to choose,
One wedded to human and fiscal failures,
The other promising hopeful national cruise,
(She should shut up, someone should jail her.)
General election is coming soon,
Choice for me is clear: hope and change!
The old blonde lady with her presidential swoon,
Screwing up her chances, she must be deranged.
Author notes
The two are kind of related, but still different.

a good fun piece, i was glad to see the end of it, the race, though it is not the end i know, the main race begins soon. it does not mean a whole lot to me as i do not live in america but they still show it virtually twenty four hours a day on the news here.
