Illuminates my life.
The grass tickles,
The feet below my person.
Life couldnt be better,
With my love beside me.
Glowing with delight,
Her smile overwhelms me.
Perfectly pleasurable day,
Starting with a ray of light.
The day ends,
Still perfectly into night.
Author notes
I chose the sun because it has always been the image of happiness. My life has been far from a happy one. Within a year's time two grandparents have died from cancer and one of my friend's committed suicide. I went through a deep depression during my early teen years. I abused drugs during my depression in an attempt to be happy. Every girlfriend I had during this time always cheated one me. I hope you enjoyed my lie.

Thank you. I'm sorry to hear about all of those horrible things. Best of wishes!

I'm assuming that your life isn't so fine and dandy? This poem did a great job at painting the visuals of everything being fine. The descriptive words you chose were wonderful.
Thank you for the entry! I hope your life can be like the Sun soon enough.
