Her Undying Beauty

Missing image
Teardrops slowly trickle
from the depths
of my aching heart
down my swollen cheeks

Dark clouds
glooming high in the sky
cool raindrops
slowly washing away my tears

A calming peace
softly embraces
my tormented soul
freeing me

As Mother Nature
delicately embraces
me within her undying beauty
and love

This is so beautiful! The page competes for the beauty of your words...but your words have the lasting quality...Making Nature as your love is unique and magnificent. A bookmark needed!

  • Nature (Gia)...Mother to us all. Her beauty emplores you to awaken and breath within...only then can you apprechaite what she has done for all of us! Alas, your words take mine away in this poem so well written! ~Sie

  • I think I need to borrow from your sense of calm. It took much longer than is right for me to find and read your latest poems, but now that I'm here I can soak up your words and be happy.

Your words are beautiful, as always.

    Love Margaret

Nature does have a calming effect and often when we feel down we escape from our normal surroundings to somewhere serene to think and come to terms with what ails us. I find anywhere near water is particularly theraputic for the heart and soul.
