Why did Jack and the Chicken
cross the road?
Because some dynamite
was about to explode.
The Chicken met Jack
and they ran quick,
across the road
leaving his candlestick.
Jack had just barely taken
a candlestick leap,
before he realized
that they were in deep.
Jack's candlestick
was not quite right,
Jack had mistakenly lit
a stick of dynamite.
Jack quit his jumps
after the blast,
no more candlesticks,
he had jumped his last.
As for the Chicken
we all know him well,
he crossed the road
with a tale to tell.
