Flowing burning hair in flight
Peircing into my face in love
This burning rose that she is to me
Is the fantasy made reality of hearts
She has become my seraph
The salvation of love she instills in me
Her sparkling eyes engulf as stars
And her heart opens to me in sweet love
The scars of beauty she put into my heart
They sing to me her beautiful smile and fervor
I love her
My burning rose

It's hard to save someone who is suffering at their own hands.
Your words create this image of a woman you wish to save so bad "burning rose"
"The scars of beauty" is an excellent image.

Oh no. This poem I wrote for a woman I was with. I called her Burning Rose. I used the term in my poetry years before I met her. A burning rose is a sign of true love. Instead of giving a songle rose or a dozen of them, you give your lover one rose, state your love for her (in my case) using words from the heart...then setting it on fire. So that the essense of your words, and the love personified by the rose can be breathed into both lovers.
