There once was a castle in Cornwall
with a history to surely enthrall,
some twenty odd ghosts and strange orbs of light
has seen many a tourist contrite.
Reputedly the most haunted castle in Britain
and many a paper's been written,
owned by the Pengersick family
taking their name of this castle for free.
Yet many a dark tale lies here
of some who died in great fear
stabbings and stranglings most dire
all this renowned throughout the shire.
A young thirteen year old danced to her death
from the battlements took her last breath,
but I wonder what happened to that poor little boy
only four and his life was destroyed.
Many people experience odd emotions
of shivers and dizziness in motion,
tired and drained, being watched on parade
I know that I surely be afraid!
Strange smells and temperature drops
have tourists very soon on the hop,
should you ever visit, make sure you observe
and also have plenty of nerve!
