Those spaces between your words

she kept honesty
in shoe boxes,
busying herself with
dreamless delusions

& trying to remember solitude

Author notes

Long, complicated and entirely simple.

    Beautiful.
You always manage to inspire me =] The title of this pice blew me away, as did the poem itself of course.
Short, simple in a complicated way. Bursting with imagery and words that make my jaw drop.
    I love the lines :

    busying herself with
    dreamless delusions

    Lovely.
    Another beautiful piece.

That very last word was as if you added another layer of depth to the peice. "Dreamless delusions" - you stalking me? lol. I love the complexity in this. There is a quote I remember, it goes like:
"Everything is more simple than you think, and more complex than you can imagine"

Which is always true. For me, atleast.

      I'm not sure about it...
Hell I'm not sure about any of my work lately.
It just doesn't seem to have any feeling to it.
Or if it does it feels removed.

Blegh. I want to write. The words are there in my head, but when I put them on paper they don't work.

It's just a phase. You still have excellent poetry - don't think that at all. It'll pass

          It better.

I use to get to the end of a poem I'd spent ages working on and be like "That's really nicely written, I like it". & now it's just meh.

BAH can't I have your talent for a couple of days?
