I wonder I pray

I put away my scrubs
I dream of your arms around me
As I tuck my self in bed
I don't know your doing
And I don't know where you are
But I look at the sky
And hope you're wishing on the same star
I wonder, I pray
And I sleep alone
I cry alone
And its so hard
Living here on my own
So please come home
I know that we're together
Even though we're far apart
And I'll wear our lucky penny
On my neck
Pressed to my heart

What did you think

    Very endearing

This is truly heart-felt and touching. There is only one point that I think you are missing a word. In the fourth line you say "I don't know your doing". Did you mean to say "I don't know what you are doing"? It seems that is the sentiment of that line.
Overall, it is a very enjoyable poem. I hope you get all your wishes and more.
