To have the white line on a cold glass mirror,
is to have no worried fear,
The sour taste run's through your nose,
and this white gold hears no woe's.
You feel almost weightless as it enters your body,
bringing on a feeling that's almost godly
This "White Gold" will control your life,
and follow you like a bloody knife.
Line after life I destroy myself,
from the addiction I brought upon myself.
I look in the mirror to see a pale white face.
after snorting through a straw, leaving no single trace
The high I get suddenly falls apart,
and leave the gold as nothing but tart.
I growy clammy and shaken as I try to break away,
but the seductive white gold has me here to stay.

I really like this and I can relate to it so much. I really like the imagery in this. I can picture those oh so tempting perfect white lines. It started giving me cravings. I really like the emotion you put into this. Great job and thanks for entering.

Well, the title was definitely an eye-popper. Personally, I don't know anyone who's ever been so addicted to any drug, but I've been warned many times about things like cocaine and crystal-meth... Maybe that's why your poem felt personal, and seemed to me as though I had invaded the narrator's mind on a very intimate level.
Whether it be cocaine, vodka, exercise, or razorblades, all addictions hurt the same. Thank you for entering, and good luck.

Welcome to AllPoetry!
Part of this reminds me of an old song from the 70's called White Lines (Grand MasterFlash) Everyone thinks it is about the actual addiction of coke, while in essence it is totally opposite and how it really messes up more than you bargained for. Now the question will remain... is this gold really worth it?
