you ride your pale horse
confidently against the grain
mankind sewing your reign
galloping fast now
swiftly within timelessness
coursing like a crimson bless
to Death a toast
and to the fly on the wall
revealing your soul
never bragging how tall
a quiet resolve forward
surging through tales untold
rising within quiet visage
countenance bold
young .....
to the office a dignity
assuming the position of power
with steady gaze a quelling glower
efficient like none
so majestic still yet, so discrete
dreaded, feared, cruel but still so sweet
the steel in your scythe
bending to no will of mankind
eyes gentle and kind
your grip on the heart
pressure like snowflakes in a flame
disappear in mist to tame
to Death a toast
and to the fly on the wall
revealing your soul
never bragging how tall
a quiet resolve forward
surging through tales untold
rising within quiet visage
countenance bold
----solo----
----repeat chorus----
Hail Death!

Have you had this awesome poem put to music? It would interest me greatly to hear it, for at the moment I'm doing a song writing course. Anyway, your poem is so full of imagery, fantastic flow and great lyrics. Keep on penning such greatness and good luck in the contest.
