My lies

I wish you would see through all my lies
The pain that lies inside
All my false “oks” and “im fines”
My weak smile, the numbness in my eyes
With no effort to survive
Fate is my virtue
My life is my lie
Everyday I die a little more inside
My masks are being uncovered
My scars rediscovered
Soon there will be nothing left
To my sullen façade
So I hold my words for a different day
I am silent because they made me that way
I am violent but only to my own heart
Can you make what’s been so dark
For so long
Into something white
But only in the purest light?
