Sin Entender

Yo no lo conozco
pero yo lo siento

en el corazón.

¿Sabes que
me muero por ti?
¿Y lo sientes también?

Nunca creí que fuera posible
sentir así,
nunca creí
en el amor.

Me reía cuando leía poemas,
y los escritores románticos
me despertaban la compasión
porque esperaban en lo irreal.

Pero si no creo en el amor,
y perfección es un invento de Disney,

Dime, mi vida,
porque caminaría mil millas
para verte una vez
y porque sacrificaría todo

por ti,
por amor.

Translation notes: use "para" instead of "por" for the last two lines (see: http://www.studyspanish.com/lessons/porpara.htm)

"why I'd walk a thousand miles" is a little so similar to that michelle branch song

otherwise, good emotion and feeling =]

Wow, the spanish version (although I dont speak much) is beautifully flowing, and the english version(which I can actually understand is just beautiful. Great job with this one!

Wow... this is very heartfelt. The Disney like was kinda random, but I liked it. I think I get what you were going for with it.

I like how the poem is about understanding, and it shows your struggle to believe in the love. Greatly written!

Poetry is more romantic in Spanish. This is so beautiful. I love the bit saying talking about if perfection is an invention of Disney lol. You might want to translate it in your author's notes so non-Spanish speakers can enjoy this as well.

Nicely written... although you have two grammatical mistakes, although they don't fade the poem at all. Nicely done, I guess you did this without a translator.
