part of the heart. We become
larger by learning to mix opposites
within life itself. Fire burns
a beacon for each friend.
So no matter where they be,
they can find each other as they need.
Love mixes metaphor, for all elements
are brought together in its house.
Food for the souls who would love.
Love, the river glides between
the fingers that would hold tight to it.
Only shows up as it is shared,
increases in size as it is
allowed to flow. There is laughter to be
found in the fire and water images of love.
Love is all the elements
enhanced with life and coherence:
contra-entropic. Time falls
before it, distance collapses.
As our hands part after meeting
palm to palm, I know the flesh
will age. When the paths parallel again,
we shall laugh, let eyes dance,
re-light the fires of friendship
out of the embers of memory,
delight in the gifts of this lifetime
knowing the love never stopped flowing.

Sharing is demonstrated all through this verse.
I feel a passion of knowing what really matters
in this world, and that passion extends to actions.
Love is all the elements...so true; it is found in
each natural gift of the earth and each gift that
our hearts naturally give. Without doubt, without
fear of consequence, without prerequisite...
just a pure gift and the faith that it somehow...
always will come back. Thank-you for this,
it warms me completely. Blue

Thanks. I find friendship the foundation of all good relationships. It begins our ability to touch and where we learn to share.

Then you understand that honor is above all else in the personal standard. It keeps love clear of grasping desires. It keeps the eyes upon the Light and guides the mind out of the mean spirited games of dispair.
Peace & Light,

No one could ever accuse you of withholding your heart... It must be true, what you say, because you share a piece of yours with everyone you meet... She could not help but to feel deeply honored...

I don't do it with everybody, only those I find of value. I respect and seek that of God in everyone and try to speak to this. If she feels honored than I have written true and we are all blessed.

I know Blue only enough to respect her immensely. I honor her because what I feel says I should. Glad it all came across.

Thank you, Tim. I only wanted to leave a note for her to take with her. A memory of another time and the knowledge that in another time and place friendship is reborn.

Thanks, novy. I wanted Blue Rew to leave knowing that she was leaving with the love of those who care about her and that our spirits would wish her success in all things. The place carved in a heart does not disappear.

Lane is right, your words wash the reader with the warmest breath of love, it soothes whatever you were feeling and makes you smile. Love, C

Love, real love, creates a sense of peace. Rew has always been someone I was supposed to know so I always felt I had more time than was true. I trust the feeling so I figure somewhere along the line I have or I will.

Thanks, a poem like this should. Peace comes to the heart when it knows love is cherished and we are held in it. My sense of honor says that first we hold all that we would and do love in esteem, cherish their magnificence. Allow ourselves to experience our sense of wonder in their presence. Be blessed, be well.
