We live in a world where love is gone.
Where its successors one by one overtake
Every aspect of the word, the thought, the action…love.
Pure love, monogamy, trust, honesty…where are they?
Dirty, girl to girl—guy to guy--, lie after lie after lie.
No one person can love any one other person.
Lust has replaced what love should be…honest, honest purity.
Forgiveness has all but disappeared. Vengeance has moved in
To take its place. Malice and hatred and killing people—with
Words, deeds, and thoughts. That’s what we have now.
Revenge is the new forgiveness. It has replaced what love should be.
Pain and Void have filled my heart where I should keep and welcome
Charity. But Charity doesn’t exist anymore. Selfishness is our
New Charity.
One for only one. All for none. Humankind, what have we done?

The story behind this is such that you would have to personally ask me for the full details.
This poem does no justice for the victimization that I have been submitted to.
Also, I don't think this is quite finished, but right now this is all I could muster to write...

having some of your experiences in mind when I read this, its a truly a beautiful piece. You have such a talent, and its so enjoyable to see. The ideas you put here are really true, unfortunately, the world we live in does have some elements of what you're saying, it does have these mallices and its sad that they exist but they do. S/he who should attempt to live 'righteous' must live despite of these problems, or fail to them. This is great, glad I read.

This world is a crazy place. . .perhaps crazier than ever.
You definitely have some very real and emotional topics on your mind and I like the ideas you put down.
I think it would be even better if put with more emotion in it (I think that's what I mean to say) and maybe less simply stating it? It might lend to more of a poem-type feel. . .not that I know the first thing about poem-form. . .it's just a thought. I think you are going somewhere very powerful with this though. . .keep going!!

true, the world is crazy but i do not think love has disappeared completely from the world, there are people who hold high spirits, sadly it seems they are outnumbered by the darker spirits.
