Sky Ripples
ice-cream raindrops, fat, heavy
fall -inexorable miracles slam
agaist my wall.
The windowpane responds in kind,
whistles, when the faraway calls...
I drift, like ships
with many sails
into the wind while hails of heaven
patter.

I like the subtle rhyming in this piece... and the take on the prompt is different (and interesting)... I liked the form of this poem and the way that it flowed together - very much like water
... thank you for your entry in this contest!
Keep writing
