Ahmed, age two
Look long and hard
At his dead face
For nothing else
Is getting through!
Author notes
Here is a political one that I wrote some time ago. Not sure whether its up to much, but I felt strongly about innocent people dying in the war.

Damn! This is just awesome and full of rage and hate for the president who has fucked up so much in the past that he should have been impeached. You say so much with such short simple phrases, that the reader doesn't get bogged down with too much description or imagery, it's just one short, thrown directly in their faces, directly to their hearts. I think what's been going on in the past few years is an abolsolute tragidly and a really horrible way for a country and a president to act. Thank you for your activism and your efforts to try to get this point across. You did a wonderful job with it!

I love this poem because you are trying to get through to a man that has a lot of power and trying to think of ways to get through to him! Right on! But I still don't think it would get through because he only cares about killing killing l=killing!

i agree, very chilling. but sadly, i doubt even this would get through to Bush. anyway, i love the message behind this and i thought the poem had a really strong and powerful meaning.

This is powerful. Short and succinct, with a simple (but well done) rhyme scheme, yet it communicates its message in a very straightforward way. I really felt a twist of emotion in my gut when I read this. Wow.

This is quite chilling indeed. Far too many innocents die, or are wounded, scarred for life by unnecessary wars, they are like locks made only to keep the honest people out: you kill, you maim,
you win! you claim.

STUNNING PIECE. WHAT MORE COULD BE SAID ABOUT THIS? BETTER THAN ANY DARK PIECE I HAVE PRODUCED.
SOMBRE, VERY SOMBRE.
