Long time, no see, how long's it been
since you and I were real tight friends?
I've missed your warmth the bubbly high,
the way you set the twinkle in my eyes.
I even miss the times you made me cry,
for far too long my eyes have weathered dry.
I miss the tickling at the corner of my lips
the unruly song that often gripped
my voice, my soul and made my body quake
with pleasure so intense it made my body ache.
So were've you been, what brings you here?
Stay awhile and share some cheer,
I've missed you so, my friend, my Laugher...
Don't go... I need directions
to Happily Ever After.

This is a lovely poem, shared feelings of love and friendship are a treasure of life. This poignant piece reminds me of certain family situations which need this kind of thinking.

Hello Didi, I don't remember when was the last time I commented here on a poem, or the last time when I commented on YOUR poem.
It's been long, very long. I still remember the moment I joined AP. Your poem is so powerful, it has opened up all the pages of my memories. Especially the pages which you and me have written together. You've been a wonderful sister, a trustworthy friend and a very kind mentor to me.
You do know how addicted I was to AP. And inspite of having made so many friends on here, everytime I'd post a poem... I'd desperately wait for YOUR review. It always seemed honest and reliable. Even apart from AP, I remember talking to you for hours and takin your time telling you about my life here. I can never forget the postcards you sent to me on my birthday, they are one of the most precious gifts I've ever recieved. I've saved them in my locker.
The moment I started reading this poem, all I could think was the time I had spent with you. It's a beautiful poem, I mean it... BEAUTIFUL.
