with such an eerie past
Many who graced it's walls
would find it would be their last
Pengersick is her name
filled with beauty and grace
Haunted to the brim with ghost
such a tragic place
Tourist come from near and far
cameras ready in hand
For one glimpse at a ghost
be it woman or man
A 14th century Monk
rattles his chains and bones
Caught in the hands of time
you can hear his cries and moans
Mysterious girl lost her life
at the young age of thirteen
Watch out she'll grab you,
swing you and never be seen
If your dress moves
and no one is there
I bet it's a four year old boy
reach for him if you dare
Be wary when you
turn in for the night
If a strange woman waits in lust
hurry and turn on the light
If your lucky a woman
may just walk through a wall
Be careful who you follow
you may trip and fall
A cat's meow at midnight
dog howling at the moon
One of the many sounds
that echos through the many rooms
So take your photographs
you never know what you may find
An Orb or silhouette
of a soul trapped in time
Each visit a new adventure
a journey into the past
But please don't stay too long
for I fear it may be your last

Hood-Wink
Great poem on the given topic sis
Remind me to go and visit this castle, when next I am in Cornwall...most of our English castles are haunted, and I would love to have a haunting experience myself
A masterpiece indeed, nice use of imagery, I like the title, but maybe is should be 'Hauntings'
Congratulations on the HM. well deserved
You have been Hood-Wink by a fellow Bandit, get well soon sis
Much love...x

We have ghosts and castles and haunted places by the hundreds over here. No one ever manages to prove conclusively to suit everyone about any of them, I wish they could - but I am not going to offer. Well done Theresa, you made it sound like you have been there.

Bravo, very good. England is full of haunted places. Lonon is the most haunted city in England and the Tower is the most haunted place in London.
