Searching... frantically,
I overturn each stone,
Tear through every book,
Read every website...
The answer must be in here somewhere.
Who am I? Why am I?
Someone's got to have a clue.
Hoping... that one day,
I'll happen upon it.
It, that one mystical piece,
the last piece to the puzzle of I.
Then I can live, then I can bloom.
Then... I can begin this journey.
Somewhere along the way, I realize-
I am already me.
I have everything I need.
There is no secret...no cure.
With each moment, I become more me.
And who that me is....the secret to her-
Cannot be answered until the end.
Why ruin the surprise?
I overturn each stone,
Tear through every book,
Read every website...
The answer must be in here somewhere.
Who am I? Why am I?
Someone's got to have a clue.
Hoping... that one day,
I'll happen upon it.
It, that one mystical piece,
the last piece to the puzzle of I.
Then I can live, then I can bloom.
Then... I can begin this journey.
Somewhere along the way, I realize-
I am already me.
I have everything I need.
There is no secret...no cure.
With each moment, I become more me.
And who that me is....the secret to her-
Cannot be answered until the end.
Why ruin the surprise?

I luv this one...the eternal quest...excellent.
So well written...i think what impressed me was the progression of realization...
The long strange trip....the box of cracker jacks with the prize thats taken only at the end.
So nice that I can be a tiny part of your wonderful journey..
This had such a good feeling to it...positive with a grand luv for life that you have passed on to me since we meet.

I really like this, can totally relate to the beginning..I'm still trying to accept that I already am me and nothing is gonna change that...

OOHHHHHH...this is niiiice.
Really.
Such understanding.
You are wise beyond your years.
Searching for what we already possess.
The great poetic question is dealt with in this piece...
Why am I ?
So profound is this, from religion and science and medicine...so reluctant to think it is all by chance...
we crave for reasoning,
for purpose..
Dreading to think of our existence as some random act of nature.
Our destiny circles back to us,
the missing piece was
in our possession from the beginning,
the discovery of that
is the magic of our being.
Great, great work here Jackie .
You are fine tuning your work from a journeyman to a craftsman.
MUCH LOVE FOR MY GYPSY POET,
LIAM
