You don't remember this time?
The time of only yesterday?
I told you again and again
in that now forgotten time,
but you seem to not remember.
What would this mean
if I challenged you once more?
Is it even worth it?
Or do I just lie down
on this familiar floor?
And take the well-known torture
inside my tearing soul.

Oh, my! This is quite heavy. A forgotten love perhaps, or just one that has been terribly ignored? I like the poem very much, but it's so very sad. You write dark very well. Thank you so much for entering this in my contest. Patricia
