Malady of the Jack Asses

Missing image
In the light of day, he shows his ass
testosterone leading the way.
With the coming of the setting sun
she begins to whinny and bray.

She plays on her whiles, to gain his smiles
as she leads him to bed by the nose.
The Jack Ass finally surrenders
to the scent of a delicate rose.

Then the head games start, pushing them apart
a line is drawn in their bed of sand.
Biting his lip, under sheets he does slip
kissing her ass, to get what he can!

With the coming of, the morning light
they reset their clock again.
Prisoners of their hormones
the oxymoron of women and men!

Interesting. I sometimes wonder if it was a little inside joke, the pairing of women and men.

Nice work. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela

    Love the title...
Seems both of the sexes here have
characteristics of an ass when it
comes to sessions between the sheets.
Left me with a grin. Blue

    Hmmm!

The poem's trend is that making love is assinine. Forgive me if I'm wrong! I do think that Shakespeare would well have known that the groundlings at the Globe Theatre would have had the earthy humour you have displayed in the poem.
In the horse industry, we are more modest saying "a stallion covers a mare"!

This is really a cute poem. Made me chuckle. I wish I could say that my beast would kiss my ass on request, but he never does it to please me, only if it pleases him...

ride the passion of another over the grand canyon of bliss...great write...LOL~~Artis
