My teddy bear sits alone,
cold outside the blanket
he stares out the open window,
wishing for a sunny day.
My teddy bear sits alone,
watching my every tear
waiting for me to hold him
to fill the hole in my chest.
Author notes
I don't know if this actually fits the prompt, but this has been drifting in my mind lately and I had to write it down.

Hmm... I don't think that it really fits the prompt myself... but that doesn't mean that this isn't a good poem... I really like the personalisation of the bear - silent, but full of unspoken words and feelings - I really enjoyed this
maybe you should go grab your bear and give him a hug (I always used to feel horrible when I noticed one of my stuffed toys being lonely)... Thank you for the entry!
Keep writing
