Water is calm, clear and cool,
Under a hot sun.
Peace and caring is the rule,
By this rule the day is won.
Two walk and seek for stones,
They're happy with each other.
There's no fear, it's overthrown,
No pride is there to smother.
At the river hope's in the air,
Truth walks with them both.
Boundaries are kept with utmost care,
Their hearts hold an oath.
Blessed hearts with so much ease,
A welcome yet foreign land.
Desire is checked to keep the peace,
The Lord's obeyed without demand.
These two are calm, clear and cool,
With passion like the sun.

Another day is won.

Yup, 2 ppl who care about each other have the proper boundaries & love. I really like the tone of the entire poem! U R a master of timing & rhyming. I'd love to hear your drumming! The tempo & content is wonderful & the first & last stanza tie in together nicely. Ah, calm, clear & cool with passion like the sun. Sounds like the relationship I've always dreamed of.
