When I close my eyes the first thing I see
Is my baby granddaughter reaching out to me
Perched upon a cloud of fluffy white
Laughing and giggling much to my delight
Grabbing at a butterfly as it flutters by
Tiny halo slipping across her sweet eyes
Dark hair gleaming and eyes so bright
piercing the darkness that overtakes my night
Happy and serene baby Chloe Lane looks to me
When I close my eyes tight and let my mind roam free
