Golden Moons And Suns.

Walking on careless waves across
lingering years of doubt;
down the alleyways of cobblestone,
limping from the weight of the conscience,
still carrying the world in a picnic basket,
calmly awaiting the vision of a dove and a rainbow;
see it and set yourself free.

    I like the tone of this poem... the take on the prompt is interesting and well created... the imagery is wonderful - I especially liked the idea of carrying the world in a picnic basket... beautiful words thank you for entering my contest!
