My opus rains
operatic rings
where silver and gold
glistens
on my voice
for you
And diamonds
speak pearls
unfurled
in a clam shell
that my oceanic soul
breathed new life
on a bended wave
Oh come, lover
toss your coins
into the brine
where I kiss luck
and serenade
waterfalls
a fountain of
memories
devoted
to you
For all that glitters
in my depths
is yours
to take
if you are willing
Let these three words
writ along the sand
be our ballad
our stage
where only we perform
and listen

Oh, but on the contrary. I'm not DQ'ing this. They don't have to be stories... just poetic lies.

Your word choices for this poem were very vivid and beautiful. The first and second stanza pretty much had me at the beach.
It's nice to know that you don't love me... ahaha. Thank you for this entry. It was a great write!
