I'm not ready to remember
But not ready to forget
It's painful for me
and it gets me upset
The memory comes unbidden
I try and force it away
It's stronger then before
This is all I can say
"I miss you and all
the nights we shared.
Our embrace was like magic
The heat of my skin flares.
the need grows there
in that little coffee shop
All I have is the memory
of us when we were on top
I would give anything
for just one more moment there
but the memory of you and I
Is more than I can bear

I can completely relate to the emotion portrayed here. This is well written and to the point your words are bathed in emotion. Thank you for sharing this.
