There's a thin line
between our love and our hate,
our hugs and kisses,
our fights and silence
Salty tears stain
rosy cheeks and satin sheets
sleepless nights
peer from behind drowsy eyes
I look at you
sitting across the room
and I feel tears straining
and a hole ripping in my heart
The distance...
it kills me
but even when you're close
you feel so far away
Like we're both on a different side
of a crimson wire of the heart
and we are trying to find a way through
but in the end... we fail.
