For the misgivings and
livings
you taught to me while never
learning any for
yourself.
Unlike the last time we
met,
I know your puppy-dog pout
is a charade in
disguise:
you really wanted that,
didn't you?
Charmed, I'm sure, to meet
your acquaintance
again.
Remind me where we met.

i like it a lot. my fav part is i know your puppy dog pout is a charade in disguise. it sort of feels like that person has a hard time letting people know how they feel inside so they put up a front to fool everyone. thanks for entering!!!!! -
Haha, this made me laugh for some reason. It's simply amazing really. great job! And good luck in the contest.

Oh this is quite the take oon the prompt! Very creative with some nice little word phrases. In this case, and for me not always, the arranement of the poem distracts me and the flow catches in my throat. A really lovely entry into the contest and good luck
