Hope

Sun breaks over the horizon
gleaming touching the ground
Another day has dawned

so much happiness to be found

A warm breeze tickles,
gently caresses my face
Lost in the moment
losing track of time and space

Clouds overhead passing
in a dramatic scheme
Lying on my back
wondering is this a dream

My quiet place exists
if only in my mind
Peace and tranquility
I will one-day find
