"Alone"

I like being alone In the evening,
To relax away strains of the day,
To listen to some soothing music,
With a box of my favourite milk tray,
I sometimes will stand at the window,
And look up at the stars In the night,
I like to stare up at the heavens,
It Is really a wonderous sight,
Then no sound as I lay In the darkness,
Thinking of things I have done,
Wishing that I could go back In the past,
To my childhood where all things were fun,
However I am just reminiscing,
Every time I am here on my own,
My life all In all has been happy,
With my wife and my kids In our home,
I really love life and my family,
I do love my work and my home,
But I do love this time In the evening,
Where I sit and relax all alone.
