Every other day the news or radio blares at you
Another horrific story involving some poor overlooked child
In a place you have never heard of
And we are told to be grateful
We are ordinary,
With ordinary lives
Playing our lives out,
Ordinarily
And we are told to be grateful
We show no signs of the problems all to evident in todays society
Anorexia, Abuse, Depression
And we are told to be grateful
Thats who we are, ordinary people being told to be grateful
for being ordinary
but someimes being ordinary isn't so nice,
and sometimes you feel like you are going to explode
that the world is crashing down on top of you and there is nothing to deflect the damage that is all to sustainable...
But then news or radio blares at you
Another horrific story involving some poor overlooked child
Amd we are told to be grateful
