Lost Appliance.

Damn! Where are you.
I'm home, the parents aren't.
WHERE ARE YOU.
My little misplaced friend.

AHA! Under the bed.
Alone at last, home alone
And now I...
DAMN! Flat batteries.

Author notes

Competition poem. Had to be 30 words or so (this is 31 words). Also had to be about a "lost friend". I did what I always do, and bent the interpretation.

Rather cheeky and childish, but I hope you like it.

LOL The funny thing is I wrote this as a joke at first, just a spare of the moment thing, but everytime I read it I find it funnier. Just the whole idea of running around looking and than... BAM! flat batteries...

Ahh I'm just a teenage boy at heart.
