Inner Intercourse

Though I am too numb to feel
I am hypnotized
by frozen flakes of fallen grace
that crave the sight of yin on yang.

The intoxication of frosted breath afloat,
rises softly within crisp mountain air
like the breath of a kiss
waiting to unfurl into imagination.
Chill me; tease me into winter’s oblivion
where death’s remembrance embraces
the rebirth of freedom’s nuisances
that hang within my dying soul.

Heat the cold winds of change to rage,
bury me among a snowdrift's complexity,
and revive my tainted vision
twelve months clear.

What a unique and thoughtful take on the give prompt. An interpretation above what lies at surface. Hopeful beyond the the depths of former shimmer, faded. Nicely done!

Stunned silence at how amazing this is! How you got that piece of brilliance from the prompt I'll never know.. but all the descriptiveness in this I really felt!!

Favourite line is "chill me, tease me into winter's oblivion".. brrr
