She is the whisper softly stirring the leaves
and riding bare back upon the ocean breeze.
She is the hues that merge between a rain-bowed end,
She is the strength you get from your one true friend.
She soars upon the backs of the great Bald Eagle so
amazing, so free.
She is the miracle of the sunset that high lights
the horizon so passionately.
She's that little voice that tucks itself in to the center
folds of your mind,
She's what you see in the elderly lady to which you found
yourself being unusually kind.
She's the fiery light of a thousand and one fire flies,
She's that one tender spot inside the depth of your heart
where only absolute truth lies.
She is the air, the sun, the stars and the moon. She is
every thing and every where. The melody with in the loveliest
tune.
She is the turtle she nurtured and fed,
The deepest crimson colored red.
The spoon that stirs the coffee of life,
She is all things, a treasured friend, Mother and wife.
She is the quietest morning sitting on the porch step as the
baby squirrell's, to young and eager to know better, stop to
see what she may have to feed them.
She is the garment of Christ interwoven with faith as it's hem.
She is the inner light of truth and beauty when eyes become to
dark to see,
She is there beside you and always, sweet Heather please know
that she will be.
For you are an extension of all that she was. Her beauty, her grace,
her bone structure and her face.
Her lessons taught, her battles fought, her back bone and her spine,
Her spirit she lifts with gentle hands and gives to you her precious
daughter. Her own mirror image so delicate and divine.
Carry her strength to be your own as you walk through the bad times.
She will carry your tears in the palms of her hands. Wash your sorrows
with them and dry your cheeks with the essence of her breath. She will be
your rock and your pillar. Your fortitude and strength.
For she is of all things and all things are of her.
May you find peace and comfort knowing she has greeted John, with her
loving and open arms, as he took that final step through Heavens door.
